Algarrobo Costa is situated 38 kilometres east of Málaga on the coast, between Caleta de Vélez and Mezquitilla, with 800 metres of wide sandy beaches. The beautiful well-kept maritime promenade has different bars and restaurants to choose from (including chiringuitos right on the beach serving fresh seafood and fish, and offering sun beds to hire in summer). There are also local amenities such as shops and supermarkets.
Together with Torre del Mar, Caleta de Vélez and Mezquitilla, the promenade stretches for 8 kilometres and it is a great place for walking and cycling.
