Torre del Mar is situated 37 kilometres east of Málaga on the coast. Its spacious beach is two kilometres long, where you can walk, jog, ride a bike or just sit and enjoy the buoyant atmosphere whilst watching the world go by. Together with Caleta de Vélez, Algarrobo Costa and Mezquitilla, the promenade stretches for 8 kilometres.
The Mediterranean motorway which connects east to west and north to south is just a five minute drive away.

Torre del Mar is among the main Phoenician settlements on the Costa del Sol. Numerous remains and tombs have been found. Today, on the fishing boats, we can see an intangible heritage of that time: the famous Phoenician eye.
